September 16, 2004 - Day Job Dampens Progress Print E-mail
Seems like a recurring theme these past weeks. My inability to get to the car. One of the neat things about working for a small business is tha chance of being 'THERE' when it starts to grow into a big company. Talk about being in on the ground level! The big problem is that there are times when there is just so much to be done and when all the planning is finished there are only a few brains and fingers that actually get the work done! (That would be me...)  So I've only been able to touch the car twice in the past 3 weeks. But I did spend a whole day filling in cracks and smoothing out surfaces. :) I'm not complaining mind you, just making an observation. You can see that the driver side is starting to get really nice and smooth. There is a definite centerline to the car where I am working on one side only. This is because I will finish the drivers side first before transposing those shapes to the passenger side. I managed to fix all the cracking and so now I am back in business with the smoothing and shaping!
